Schedules and Fees


Securing a space for your child at Norwood Open School requires you fill out an application and turn in with the application fee, sign the tuition payment agreement at the end of this handbook and return with the materials fee and first months tuition. Other enrollment forms that must be returned before your child’s first day include emergency information, intake form, topical authorization and photo release, and an emergency notecard that will be given to you the first time you visit the school or at drop off on your child’s first day. You are also required to turn in a copy of your child’s immunization records which must remain in your child’s file at the school.

If, at any time throughout the school year, a family decides to remove their child from Norwood Open School, a 30 day written notification must be handed in and no reimbursements will be made for tuition already paid.


In addition to monthly tuition, a one-time enrollment fee of $150 will be charged upon acceptance to the school, and an annual materials fee of $100 will be due each August. Norwood Open School is a twelve-month program with monthly tuition due by the third of each month. If payment is not received by the fifth of each month, a late fee of $50 will be added to the following month’s tuition. If tuition has not been paid by the end of the month, the child will not be allowed to return to the school until tuition, along with the late fee, has been paid in full. When new students enroll part way through a month, enrollment (application and materials) fees will be due and tuition will be pro-rated for that month. 


Tuition costs are as follows:

Full Day (M-F 8a-4p)

Infant (non-potty training): $910/month

Toddler (potty training): $810/month

Norwood Open School is open from 8am until 4pm Monday through Friday. If you need care outside these hours, please speak with Jamie about scheduling before/after care. Prior arrangements (scheduled more than two days in advance and at the guides discretion) must be made for before/after care and will be charged $10/hour added to the following month’s tuition.  A late pick up fee of $5 for every fifteen minutes will be added to the following month’s tuition for pick-ups after 4pm. If you are unexpectedly going to be late, please call or text with your estimated time of arrival. 
Drop-in care will be available for older siblings and former students at a rate of $10/hour. Arrangements for drop-in care must be made a day in advance to ensure that space is available. Drop-in care will be billed to the following month’s tuition.
